GetMoved – Terms & Conditions

Welcome to GetMoved.

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the GetMoved website, platform, applications, APIs, and related services (collectively, the “Platform”) operated by GetMoved (“GetMoved,” “Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Platform.

1. About GetMoved

GetMoved is a technology platform designed to connect customers with independent moving companies and moving-related service providers. The Platform may include:

Quote request tools
AI-assisted inventory estimation
Booking and scheduling tools
Communication tools
Payment and invoicing features
Marketplace and SaaS services for moving companies
APIs and integrations with third-party services

GetMoved is not itself a moving carrier, freight broker, warehouse operator, or transportation provider unless explicitly stated otherwise in a separate written agreement.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into binding contracts to use the Platform.

By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that:

All information you provide is accurate and current;
You are authorized to use the payment method provided;
You will comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

3. User Accounts

You may be required to create an account to access certain features.

You are responsible for:

Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials;
All activities conducted under your account;
Promptly notifying us of unauthorized access.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law.

4. Customer Services

Customers may use the Platform to:

Request moving quotes;
Upload inventory information;
Use AI-assisted inventory and volume estimation tools;
Compare offers from moving companies;
Schedule moving services;
Communicate with service providers.

All quotes, estimates, schedules, and services are provided by independent moving companies or third parties unless explicitly stated otherwise.

GetMoved does not guarantee:

Availability of movers;
Accuracy of estimates;
Completion timelines;
Pricing consistency;
Service quality of third-party providers.

Final pricing and terms are determined between the customer and the selected moving company.

5. Moving Company Services

Moving companies and service providers using the Platform agree that:

They are properly licensed and insured where required by law;
They will maintain all required permits and registrations;
They are solely responsible for services provided to customers;
They will comply with all federal, state, and local regulations;
They will provide accurate business and insurance information.

GetMoved reserves the right to suspend or remove providers at its discretion.

6. AI Features

The Platform may use artificial intelligence and machine learning tools, including but not limited to:

Inventory recognition;
Volume and weight estimation;
Quote recommendations;
Route optimization;
Operational automation.

AI-generated outputs are estimates only and may not always be accurate.

Users acknowledge and agree that:

AI results are informational only;
Human verification is recommended;
GetMoved is not liable for inaccuracies or decisions made based on AI outputs.

7. Payments

Payments processed through the Platform may be facilitated by third-party payment providers.

By making a payment, you authorize the applicable payment processor to charge your selected payment method.

GetMoved may charge:

Platform fees;
Subscription fees;
SaaS fees;
Transaction fees;
Marketplace fees.

All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.

GetMoved does not control banking institutions or payment processors and is not responsible for payment delays or processing errors.

8. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellation and refund policies may vary depending on the moving company or service provider.

Customers should review the provider’s cancellation policy before booking.

Unless explicitly stated otherwise:

Platform fees are non-refundable;
Deposits may be subject to provider-specific policies;
Refund disputes must first be addressed with the provider.

9. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

Use the Platform for unlawful purposes;
Submit false or misleading information;
Attempt unauthorized access to systems or accounts;
Upload malicious code or software;
Interfere with Platform functionality;
Copy, scrape, reverse engineer, or exploit the Platform;
Use automated systems without written authorization.

We reserve the right to investigate violations and cooperate with law enforcement.

10. Intellectual Property

All Platform content, including:

Software;
Branding;
Logos;
Designs;
Databases;
AI models;
User interfaces;
Text and graphics,

are owned by GetMoved or its licensors and protected by intellectual property laws.

No rights are granted except as expressly stated in these Terms.

11. User Content

Users may upload content including:

Photos;
Videos;
Inventory lists;
Documents;
Reviews;
Messages.

You retain ownership of your content.

By uploading content, you grant GetMoved a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to:

Host;
Store;
Process;
Analyze;
Display;
Use the content for Platform operations and improvements.

You represent that you have all rights necessary to upload such content.

12. Third-Party Services

The Platform may integrate with third-party services including:

Payment processors;
Mapping services;
Communication providers;
Insurance providers;
Logistics and fleet tools;
API integrations.

GetMoved is not responsible for third-party services, websites, or policies.

Your use of third-party services may be subject to separate agreements.

13. Disclaimers

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.”

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GETMOVED DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING:

MERCHANTABILITY;
FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE;
NON-INFRINGEMENT;
ACCURACY;
RELIABILITY;
AVAILABILITY.

GETMOVED DOES NOT WARRANT THAT:

THE PLATFORM WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED;
THE PLATFORM WILL BE ERROR-FREE;
DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED;
AI OUTPUTS WILL BE ACCURATE.

14. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GETMOVED SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

INDIRECT DAMAGES;
INCIDENTAL DAMAGES;
CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES;
LOSS OF PROFITS;
LOSS OF DATA;
BUSINESS INTERRUPTION;
PROPERTY DAMAGE;
PERSONAL INJURY;
DISPUTES BETWEEN USERS;
ACTIONS OF MOVING COMPANIES OR CUSTOMERS.

IN NO EVENT SHALL GETMOVED’S TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE GREATER OF:

THE AMOUNT PAID TO GETMOVED IN THE PREVIOUS 12 MONTHS; OR
USD $100.

15. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless GetMoved and its officers, employees, affiliates, and partners from claims arising out of:

Your use of the Platform;
Your violation of these Terms;
Your violation of applicable law;
Services you provide or receive.

16. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Platform at any time, with or without notice, including for violations of these Terms.

Upon termination:

Your right to use the Platform immediately ends;
Certain provisions of these Terms survive termination.

17. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed under the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in California, unless otherwise required by applicable law.

18. Arbitration

At GetMoved’s discretion, disputes may be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with applicable arbitration rules.

Users waive the right to participate in class actions to the extent permitted by law.

19. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time.

Updated versions become effective upon posting on the Platform.

Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
